Diana Au, M.Ed, SLPA (pursuing her MAsters in Communication Disorders)

I was born and raised in Hawai'i in a multilingual household. Because of this, my love for language has been fostered since childhood and has only grown with age. I discovered speech-language pathology and realized that it was the perfect way to share my love of language with others. I graduated with a BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University and a M.Ed in Special Education with a focus on assistive technology from Bowling Green State University. I am currently back in graduate school to obtain my MA in Speech-Language Pathology. I've been working as an SLPA for the past ten years in outpatient clinics, homes, and schools. My work has ranged from early intervention to autism, AAC, pragmatic language, narrative language, and a variety of other areas. In my free time, I love to get outside and explore nature, travel while learning about new cultures, and spend time playing in the kitchen.
